Why We’re Here
As the program is called, students come into this to learn about Property Development. We are taught about the processes from pre-acquisition to exit strategies, but to do this in our own way. From analysis to planning, critical path identification, management, and feasibility (both entitlement and financial wise), students learn about the development process from conceptualization to completion.
LDEV 663 - Project Management
Nearly all of the things mentioned above have been touched upon in the previous objectives. Critical path timeline determination / creation, however, was done in Project Management using Smartsheet.
Smartsheet is a work management tool used for assigning tasks in a project, tracking project progress, managing calendar and timelines to ensure it is on track, sharing and collaborating on documents, and more. Though initially difficult to navigate, Smartsheet is a great tool that holds a lot of value, helping to better manage a project with many moving parts.
